founded by a group of local acousticians, aims to promote the knowledge and practice of acoustic and also maintain and present the integrity and status of the profession to the public and the government. At present, the Institute has members from different disciplines: architect, building services, consultancy, education, government, research and academics. Majority of the members are also Chartered Engineers or members of other local and overseas professional institutions.
