DMCA / Trademark Policy

If you are a copyright or trademark owner, or you want a directory listing corrected or removed, this page explains what to send us and how the request is handled.

1. What you can report

• Copyright (DMCA): text, photographs or other material hosted by us that you own and did not license.
• Trademark: a logo, brand name or product image used in a listing in a way that misleads or implies authorisation.
• Listing corrections: wrong description, outdated URL, closed business, or an entry about you that you want amended or removed.
• Unsafe or unlawful content: listings that promote illegal goods or services.

2. What to include

1. The exact listing URL(s) and a screenshot or description of where the material appears.
2. Identification of the work or mark — registration number if you have one.
3. Your name, organisation, postal address, email and telephone.
4. A statement that you believe the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

3. How we handle it

• We acknowledge receipt within 2 working days and aim to action valid notices within 5 working days.
• Material that is clearly infringing is removed or the listing is edited while we review.
• Where a listing owner disputes the notice, we may restore the entry and notify both parties; repeat infringement leads to permanent removal.
• We keep a record of notices and actions taken.

4. Counter-notice

If your listing was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, email the same address with the listing URL, the reason, and your contact details. We will forward your response to the original complainant and may restore the listing if the matter is not pursued.

5. Report a listing without a legal claim

Anyone can report a dead link, wrong category, duplicate entry or inaccurate description using the same address — no legal wording needed. Please include the URL and what should change.
